Crofton Meadows Elementary student Travis Burruss' art was selected among dozens to be featured on the front of all county school system debit cards. Burruss' art, a colorful painting of a fish, was shown on an enlarged replica of the cards that will be distributed to school employees across the county. The card replica and a certificate from the Board of Education was presented to Burruss, who was at Wednesday's school board meeting. He said he was surprised and excited to have been the winner.
