Find Some Stuff from Crofton on eBay

The latest look at the auction site features a T-shirt from a local crab restaurant.

Did you know that Crofton once had a big waterslide? I sure didn't.

I discovered this fact while scanning eBay for the latest items related to the town.

Some new items on the popular auction website include a T-shirt from a local crab shack, some baseball cards and, yes, a photo of happy folks sliding on a hot day.

Here's a look at some interesting items for sale.

Baltimore Sun Photo of Crofton Recreation Park — This photo, taken in 1980, features two people heading down a water slide. The caption reads: "A couple keeps cool on a very hot day at Crofton Recreation Park — on 368' sliding board." This was news to me. Another photo shows that this park also had a "skatebowl." Either photo can be yours for $14.99.

"Fear the Crab" Shirt - This T-shirt from Fat Boys in Crofton features a surly looking crab drinking a beer. It's selling for $16.99 and apparently had been $19.99. It's a mystery to me why it would be worth so much. Also, I have no idea why the seller is from Las Vegas.

1955 Arundel 'Junior High' Yearbook - This 58-year-old yearbook could feature some of the area's oldest residents. Wouldn't it be swell to own such a book?

Frederick Keys Baseball Card - This card from 2003 features a man by the name of Mark Shires, who apparently was the team trainer and a Crofton native. It can be yours for $12.99. If you don't care about Shires, the card also features a picture of Keyote, the Frederick Keys mascot.
