Marathon Explosion: 3 Crofton Runners on Entry List
Patch is awaiting word on the safety of runners following a deadly explosion near the finish line. People from the Crofton area can use Red Cross Safe and Well site.

At least two people have been killed and dozens have been hurt in explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon.
There were at least three runners from Crofton who were on the entry list for the race, though it's not clear if they all ran in the race. To learn if they have been found safe, you can check the Red Cross "Safe and Well" website to see if they have registered there.

- Kristen Sullivan (confirmed safe)
- Carime Richter
According to the Boston Marathon's online tracker, Sullivan finished the race in 4 hours, 11 minutes, around the time of the explosions. Kalber finished just a bit earlier, in 3 hours 58 minutes.
There was no time listed for Richter.
