BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Baltimore County has a total of 75,644 positive new COVID-19 cases and 1,775 deaths, according to the Baltimore County Health Department. The state has 551,264 confirmed cases and 10,490 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.
The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Baltimore County as of Oct. 18:
- 21234 with 5,863 cases
- 21222 with 5,482 cases
- 21228 with 4,628 cases
- 21117 with 4,568 cases
- 21207 with 4,333 cases
The county health department has its own website created to monitor the situation, broken down by new cases per day and other data.

The CDC advises taking several measures to help stop the spread of the virus, including the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

- Stay 6 feet away from others.
- Clean and disinfect.
