All-County Honors Dance Ensemble Announces Team Members

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Several Baltimore County high school and middle school students have been named to the All-County Honors Dance Ensemble. The members were selected following auditions Jan. 31 at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology. The ensemble will rehearse at Carver Center on Monday evenings starting Feb. 7.

The culminating event for the All-County Honors Dance Ensemble will be a gala concert performance May 17 at 7 p.m. on the outdoor stage at Oregon Ridge Nature Center.

“The students accepted for the All-County Honors Dance Ensemble demonstrated not only their
technical ability but also the ability to think ‘on their feet’ and be expressive through the art form while applying feedback,” Sonia Synkowski, BCPS dance resource teacher, said. “We are thrilled to continue the tradition of the ensemble for the 16th year and to welcome the students back to an in-person environment where they can learn and grow from each other.”
