Back To School: BCPS 2021-22 School Calendar

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Baltimore County with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day at Baltimore County Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Baltimore County is Aug. 30.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

All students, staff and visitors will be required to wear masks in all Baltimore County Public Schools’ offices, schools and buildings. Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Baltimore County Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 30 for all students except kindergarteners who start their first full day Sept. 1

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 24 - Jan. 2

Spring Break: April 9-18

Last Day: June 16 (last day of school for graduating seniors is May 20)
