Baltimore City Road Construction Open House Tonight

Baltimore City transportation officials will share information about projects planned for Broening Highway and Dundalk Avenue.

Commuters who regularly traverse Baltimore city's tooth-jarring portions of Broening Highway and Dundalk Avenue might want to attend a gathering tonight hosted by the city's Department of Transportation.

The Southeast Road Reconstruction Program community open house will be held  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 18, at 1708 Dundalk Ave. in the Holabird Manor apartments.

Residents are invited to learn about a series of improvement projects in southeast Baltimore, which will include the reconstruction of Broening Highway, the streetscaping of Dundalk Avenue, intersection safety improvements throughout the area and the commercial vehicle management plan for the area, according to a statement from city officials.

Transportation leaders will talk about the projects and share with residents the best ways to get around during construction.
