Fireworks Postponed in Dundalk

The Fourth of July fireworks show is delayed, while Dundalk Independence Day parade goes on as planned.

Dundalk, MD — The Dundalk fireworks have been rescheduled.

The Independence Day fireworks show will take place on Tuesday, July 5, rather than on the Fourth of July as planned. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of rain on Monday, July 4; check the Dundalk forecast.

On Tuesday, the fireworks show will start at dusk or approximately 9:15 p.m. at the North Point Government Center in the Grange Elementary School area.

The fireworks are set off at the government center along Merritt Boulevard and will be visible in the vicinity.

The Dundalk Heritage Fair Association puts on the fireworks show and the parade, which is continuing as planned Monday morning; the parade started at 8:15 a.m.
