Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot is up to $400 million—do you have your ticket yet?

1. The Weather: Tuesday looks to be cloudy and quite wet most of the day, which could wreak havoc on local National Night Out activities. Showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. the day time high is expected to be around 78 degrees, with the chance of precipitation at 70 percent. Tuesday night is expected to bring more showers and thunderstorms, with a low of about 72.

2. From history.com's This Day in History: "On this day in 1945, at 8:16 a.m. Japanese time, an American B-29 bomber, the Enola Gay, drops the world's first atom bomb, over the city of Hiroshima. Approximately 80,000 people are killed as a direct result of the blast, and another 35,000 are injured. At least another 60,000 would be dead by the end of the year from the effects of the fallout."

Also on this day, Andy Warhol (1928) and Lucille Ball (1911) were born and "Breakfast Club" director John Hughes died (2009).

3. Communities across Dundalk will celebrate the 30th anniversary of National night Out tonight with cookouts, ice cream socials and fire equipment demonstrations. See the list of events on Dundalk Patch.

4. Wednesday night's Powerball drawing features a jackpot of $400 million, the third largest Powerball jackpot and the fourth largest U.S. jackpot in history, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
