Sign of the Times: Important Safety Tip

With this important safety tip from the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Co., Dundalk Patch kicks off a new feature called "Sign of the Times."

This space will feature a local organization's sign with news of an event, accomplishment, important notice or other helpful information.

In this first Sign of the Times, local volunteer firefighters use a simple, to-the-point message to remind us it's time to check the batteries in our smoke detectors.

If you don't have one, get one; if you've had your current device 10 years or longer, or you've had it beyond the manufacturer's recommended life cycle, replace it.
