1 Hospitalized in Crash on Muddy Creek Road
Paramedics used a helicopter to transport the victim to Prince George's County Trauma Center.

One person suffered serious and life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning during a car crash on Muddy Creek Road near Crandell Road, according to Lt. Keith Hamilton of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to a call at about 10:01 a.m. for a motor vehicle collision. Initially, responders were told the individual was trapped in the car. Upon arrival, they learned that wasn’t true, but that the individual was suffering from very serious injuries, Hamilton said.
Due to the seriousness of the injuries, paramedics transported the individual to the Prince George’s County Trauma Center in a Maryland State Police helicopter.

The age or gender of the injured person was not available at the time Patch spoke with Hamilton.
Anne Arundel County police are investigating the cause of the crash, Hamilton said.
