Car Show Coming This Weekend To Edgewater's American Legion
Looking for something to do this weekend? A car show is coming to Edgewater, bringing hot rides and live music to the American Legion.

EDGEWATER, MD — American Legion Post 226 will host a car show this Saturday in Edgewater. The public event will feature custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. There will be live music, food and drinks all day.
Tickets cost $5. Children 10 and under are free.
The festivities run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legion, located at 830 Central Avenue. The rain date is Sunday.

The first 200 registered vehicles will get a free dash plaque. Judges will award trophies to the winners.
The grounds open for preregistered vehicles at 9 a.m. Preregistration is already closed, but anybody interested in showing their vehicles can register the day of the event from 10 a.m. to noon. Same-day registration costs $20.

Broadneck Grill and Cantina will host a fundraiser Wednesday evening for the Legion, which is an organization that supports veterans. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., 10 percent of sales will benefit the car show. The Mexican restaurant is located at 74 Central Avenue.
The Legion is also having a meeting for all volunteers Wednesday at 6 p.m.
