Edgewater Books Looking to Highlight Local Artists

Edgewater Books  is looking to highlight local artists when it opens up at 951 Central Ave. on August 19. 

The store will have an art room where they will display art from around the region.  Edgewater Books already has a few elementary schools signed up, but is looking for more artists in any age group.

So far Deale, Lothian, Central and Edgewater elementary schools have signed up to participate. Anyone else looking to have their students' work highlighted can call owner Ken Kennedy at 410-988-2103.

Nick Davidowski, a rising seventh-grader at Bates Middle School, is already hard at work putting his artistic touch on Edgewater Book. Nick was chosen to paint a mural on the wall of the store.
