Edgewater Legion To Place Flags At Graves Of Anne Arundel Veterans
The American Legion in Edgewater will honor late Anne Arundel County veterans by laying flags at their graves.
EDGEWATER, MD — The Edgewater American Legion will place flags at the graves of Anne Arundel County veterans. This will honor the late residents ahead of Memorial Day, which is on Monday, May 30.
American Legion Cummings-Behlke Post 226 asked members to sign up by Sunday, May 22. Volunteers will pick up the flags on Saturday, May 28 at 8 a.m. A breakfast will follow.
The team will lay the flags at nearly 30 cemeteries from Edgewater and Davidsonville to Shady Side and Galesville.
