Enjoy a Sonic Crush When Davis Crushes One

The Edgewater Sonic is giving Orioles fans even more reason to celebrate whenever Chris “Crush” Davis smashes one out of the park.

According to its Facebook page, the Sonic on Solomons Island Road will have 99-cent Orange Slush Crush the day after Davis hits a homer.

Davis hit his 38th homer of the season Tuesday night—a two-run shot—in the Orioles 4-3 win over the Houston Astros. The homerun was a tremendous relief to Orioles fans—since Davis has struggled since the All-Star break. Tuesday’s blast was his first since July 14.

The Tuesday homer means the Sonic in Edgewater will have 99-cent orange treats on Wednesday. So hurry in and get yours. Or you could always wait until Davis crushes another one—which will hopefully be tonight.
