Greene Turtle Servers Donating Tips for Needy Children Tuesday

Among with other locations throughout Maryland, The Greene Turtle in Edgewater is donating 100 percent of its tips Tuesday night in a special effort called “Tips for Tots.”

The event combines all gratuities earned by servers Tuesday night, who then go out and hit local gift stores—buying presents for underprivileged children.

This is the second year the Edgewater location has participated in the event. Some locations last year even earned significantly more than $500.
