Hispa Liquor License Approved by Board
The Edgewater restaurant is running drink and food specials to celebrate the new license.

Local residents already loving the authentic Latin flavors of the newly expanded Hispa Restaurant in Edgewater can now have a margarita with their dinner.
According to online records, the Anne Arundel County Liquor Board approved the restaurant's application for a Class B on Nov. 12.
Restaurant owner Henry Mejia said the restaurant is now serving alcohol to patrons ages 21 and over.
In celebration of the newly granted license, Hispa is offering its 16-ounce house margaritas—frozen or on the rocks—for $4. A variety of domestic and imported beers will also be available for $2 as part of the special.
Several menu items will also have special prices, including the carne asada for $9.99, the ceveche for $5.99, the fajita mix for $11.99 and the seafood spaghetti for $11.99.
The specials are going on now through Nov. 27. Stop by the restaurant at 183 Mayo Rd. from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for more details.
