Holly Hills, Flat Island Both Unsafe for Swimming
The rest of the West and Rhode rivers are safe to enjoy this weekend, according to its Riverkeeper.

The following information was shared by West/Rhode Riverkeeper and Anne Arundel County Councilman Chris Trumbauer (D-6th District).
Wednesday's sampling recorded two high bacteria counts—both in the Rhode River.
Holly Hills and Flat Island both had levels above the EPA single-test threshold for safe swimming. The result at Holly Hills was particularly high—more than 10 times the limit. All other sites were well below the EPA threshold. To view the full results, click here.
