Man Indicted in Edgewater Crash that Killed 'Joe' Byrd

Gene "Joe" Byrd, 78, died when he suffered a cardiac arrest while paramedics pulled him from the wreckage on March 6.

A man has been indicted on manslaughter charges in connection with an Edgewater car crash that killed a 78-year-old man on Solomons Island Road back in March, according to The Capital.

The Capital reported that Edward Cramer, 28, of North Beach faces six counts including negligent manslaughter, reckless driving and failure to stop at a traffic signal.
