Motorcyclist Dies Days After Lothian Crash: Police
A motorcyclist died days after a Lothian crash, police said. A sedan pulled out in front of the biker, who couldn't avoid hitting the car.

LOTHIAN, MD — A motorcyclist died days after a Lothian crash, county police announced recently.
Officers identified the victim as 53-year-old Lance Carney Andriani of Chesapeake Beach.
The wreck happened Saturday around 9:45 p.m. The victim was riding a 2022 Harley Davidson FLHXS Street Glide on southbound Southern Maryland Boulevard, also known as Route 4. A 2019 Honda Accord was heading east on the Talbot Road crossover and made a right turn onto southbound Route 4 in front of the motorcycle, authorities said.

Police said the motorcyclist could not avoid hitting the sedan.
Medics took the victim to an unidentified hospital with life-threatening injuries, officers said.

Authorities said they learned Tuesday that the biker died at a hospital from his injuries. The sedan driver was not hurt.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating.
