Anne Arundel County police arrested an Edgewater man in the Annapolis Harbour Center parking lot on New Year’s Eve in connection with two commercial robberies, according to a press release.

Police arrested Neil Andrews Fletcher, 46, of the 1900 block of Salisbury Road in Edgewater, and David Aleksander Sade, 47, of the 800 block of Chestnut Tree Drive in Annapolis.

At approximately 2:36 p.m. on Dec. 31, police received report of a robbery at Alexander’s of Annapolis Salon & Spa, located in the 2300 block of Forest Drive in the Festival at Riva shopping center. While officers were on their way to the scene, the spa’s owner was actually following the alleged robbers, police said.
