Serious Accident Ties Up Central Avenue
One man was seriously injured, three other transport units requested in Sunday afternoon crash.
A late Sunday afternoon car accident on Central Avenue in Edgewater resulted in a 25-year-old man being airlifted to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred on Central Avenue at Pike Ridge Road, according to Capt. James Rostek of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, and three other transport units were requested to take others injured in the crash to a local hospital.
Eye on Annapolis reported around 4 p.m. that there were two cars and a pickup truck involved in the crash.
