Nov. 30 is Small Business Saturday. Here's what you can find at several small businesses in the area.

It's Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30, and many local businesses are holding special promotions and rolling out their holiday products.
Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corp. is working to promote local businesses on social media. While you shop this weekend, take pictures of your local businesses and use the hashtag #ShopSmallAA on Twitter or on the AAEDC Facebook page. You'll be entered to win a $50 American Express Gift Card.
Here's a sample of some small businesses in the Edgewater area that you can support on Saturday.
Edgewater Books, a local children's bookstore, is hosting a special readings of My Pen Pal, Santa at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The book was penned by Davidsonville resident Melissa Stanton. A very special, very jolly guest will be in attendance. Stock up on books for the little ones in your life and meeting the big guy himself.
Honey Hive in Edgewater is the place to go for cakes, cupcakes and other sweet treats. Stop in on Saturday and pick up a gift certificate for your sweetie.
Turn Around Consignments in West River specializes in high quality second hand clothes. They also offer gift certificates, perfect for the budget conscious shopper in your life.
