TD Bank Hosts Grand Opening Saturday

The new business is hosting a special community grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where residents could win a $1,000 shopping spree.

To celebrate its newest retail store in Edgewater, TD Bank will host a community grand opening celebration Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the new store located at 2 Lee Airpark Dr.

The new TD Bank store will target Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification based on overall environmental performance in six areas: the use of a sustainable site, low water usage, energy efficiency, the use of recycled materials, indoor environmental air quality and innovation and design.

The new TD Bank in Edgewater is one of 51 LEED-certified stores and corporate buildings in its Maine-to-Florida footprint and more than 70 projects that are targeting LEED certification.

Entire families—including pets—are invited to participate at the grand opening celebration, which is free and open to the public and will include:

  • Free hot dogs, soft drinks, ice cream novelties
  • Entertainment from a DJ, balloon artist, the TD mascot “TD,” and a prize wheel
  • A ribbon cutting ceremony at noon 

Attendees will have a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. 

TD Bank focuses on delivering quality customer service by providing the longest banking hours in Maryland, hassle-free products, treats for kids and biscuits for dogs. For the convenience of its customers, the lobby and drive-thru hours of the new TD Bank in Edgewater will be:

Lobby:

  • Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Drive-thru:

  • Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
