Three-Car Accident Sends 3 to Hospial

Three people were injured in a three-car accident Saturday morning on Solomons Island Road that also took down a nearby traffic sign pole, according to Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

At about 11:01 a.m., firefighters and paramedics received a call of a motor vehicle collision on Solomons Island Road near Tarragon Lane. Upon arrival, responders found a traffic sign that had been destroyed due the accident, requiring attention from the State highway Administration, Swindle said. 

Three people were injured in the accident and transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center, added the chief. Their injuries were not life threatening, he said.
