Upper Marlboro Business Appoints Edgewater Woman as Marketing VP

Michelle Collett takes her 18 years of experience to South River Restoration, owned and operated by fellow Edgewater resident, Bryan Agee.

An Edgewater woman was recently named the new vice president of marketing for in Upper Marlboro.

, an emergency disaster restoration company owned by Edgewater resident Bryan Agee, announced Michelle Collett as its new VP of marketing after she spent eight years at a marketing communications firm.

“South River Restoration has seen tremendous growth over the past 10 years and we felt it was time to bring an in-house marketing person on board,” said Agee, SRR president. “Her strategic vision paired with our passion to give back what disaster took will be a win-win combination.”

Collett, Agee's sister, has spent 18 years in the marketing business and will oversee all marketing functions such as brand management, creative development, social media and general public relations strategies.

“There’s a great energy from within and working together, we’ll develop innovative marketing strategies to get South River Restoration to the next level,” Collett said.

Edgewater residents may even be familiar with Collett’s work. She served as the communications manager for the South River Colony Homeowners Association, earning her the “2011 Communicator of the Year Award,” presented by the Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute.
