Volunteer with Historic London Town and Gardens

The Londotown Symphony Orchestra is also seeking volunteers to help with marketing.

If you’re looking to get involved with the community this summer, a few local organizations are seeking volunteers.

The Londowntown Symphony Orchestra is looking for help with promotions, and Historic London Town and Gardens is in need of volunteers to give tours.

Historic London Town and Gardens

This Edgewater historic site seeks volunteers interested in history and/or horticulture to become docents, historic interpreters and gardeners at this 17th-18th century tobacco port. Volunteers give site tours, house tours or demonstrate colonial crafts and daily life. They may work in historic or ornamental gardens. Londontown Symphony Orchestra

The mission of the Londontown Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is to provide high quality classical and light classical music concerts for the enrichment and enjoyment of the residents of Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas. LSO also provides an opportunity for student, amateur and professional musicians to learn and grow under the guidance of a professional music director. The LSO needs volunteers to help with the marketing and promotion of the orchestra. Volunteers with assist with writing press releases and newsletters, spreading concert news to print and online media, and promoting concerts in retirement centers and other market concentrations..
