EDGEWATER, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Edgewater and Davidsonville around Labor Day, which is on Monday, Sept. 6:
Government Offices: Anne Arundel County government offices will be closed Monday.
Courts: Courts will be closed Monday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Park hours are listed here. This interactive map shows the parks closest to you.
Libraries: The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday.
Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Monday. In Anne Arundel County, Monday collection will happen Tuesday. Tuesday's pickup will occur Wednesday. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.
Buses: The County Connector will operate on a Sunday schedule this Monday.
These Anne Arundel County bus routes will run on a Sunday schedule this Monday:
- Gold Route
- 201 Route
- 202 Route
These county lines will not operate at all on Monday:
- South County Call N Ride
- Crofton Connector
- Yellow Route
