Which Intersections in Edgewater, Davidsonville Need Upgrading the Most?

Local residents have recently expressed their dissatisfaction over poorly designed intersections—specifically those that have reoccurring accidents.

After learning that three people were hospitalized in an accident on Solomons Island Road near Tarragon Lane, one local resident wrote to Patch frustrated, saying she’s wanted an upgrade to the intersection for years.

“The intersection has minor accidents often and that large traffic light pole has been knocked down several times. Maybe it is saying something about how the intersection is poorly planned,” she wrote.

Almost surely, the majority of residents want to see a complete renovation of the intersection at Muddy Creek Road and Central Avenue. However, there are others that want improvements to other stop lights and traffic lights throughout the area.
