Woman Rescued from Flooded Patuxent River Road
Firefighters rescued the driver of a car that was trapped.

A woman was rescued Friday morning as water surrounded her car on Patuxent River Road.
Firefighters responded at about 4:40 a.m. to a stranded vehicle at Patuxent Road and Trails End Road, according to Division Chief Keith Swindle, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Swindle said water had reached the bumper of the car. The driver was removed and unharmed, and emergency crews were available by 5:30 a.m.
