Young Goalie Selected to MD Olympic Development Program
Davidsonville Athletic Association's Madison Scott will represent the region while playing against some of the top players in the country.
A local soccer goalie with the Davidsonville Athletic Association was recently selected to play for the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association's (MYSA) Olympic Development Program (ODP).
The young athlete competed in several tryouts and multiple cut phases against some of the best soccer players in the state. Earning ODP honors is an impressive accomplishment—one that'll allow her to play throughout the country and possibly overseas.
Madison, who hopes to one day play for the State Champion South River girls soccer team, led her division this season allowing only three goals while her squad netted 28—that's a +25 goal differential.
