Hudson River Plane Makes Way Through Maryland
The plane will finally reach its destination.
Eighteen months ago, Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger famously landed a plane in the Hudson River after the aircraft collided with a flock of geese. Now the fuselage from that plane is finally making its way to its original destination.
from Harrison, NJ, to Charlotte, NC. After it arrives, there will be a gathering with more than 300 people and Sullenberger as the keynote speaker.
The plane will be traveling through Maryland on its way. It's not clear what route it will take or when it will arrive, but as of Monday morning, the plane was at the foot of the Delaware Memorial Bridge in New Jersey.
