2 Store Employees, 2 Teens Report Assaults, Robberies In Howard County
Howard County Police report several robberies that targeted teens and store employees between Oct. 6-7.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A slew of robberies targeting individuals and businesses have been reported to the Howard County Police Oct. 6-7.
An employee at the Macy's store in Columbia reported a woman and man leaving the store with merchandise they never paid for on Oct. 6 at 2:40 p.m. When the employee confronted the pair, the woman pulled out a stun gun. No one injured, according to the police report.
A store employee at the 7-Eleven along Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City reported two men stole food items and indicated they had a gun before taking off. The incident happened Oct. 7 at 4 a.m., police said.

A teenage boy reported being approached by a man who assaulted him and stole his skateboard, which was later recovered. No injuries were reported, according to police. The incident happened Oct. 7 around 5:30 p.m. in the 9900 block of Guilford Road in Jessup.
A teen told police that he was approached by a group of juveniles Oct. 7 around 7 p.m. in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road. They assaulted the teen, pulled out a gun then stole his shoes and watch before running off. No serious injuries were reported, police said.
