2 Women Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash On Route 100: Police

Both women died at the scene, police said.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Two women were killed in a three-vehicle crash overnight in Ellicott City, according to police.

The incident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday on westbound Route 100 near Snowden River Parkway, police said. A 2021 Acura RDX was traveling in the wrong direction and collided with a 2010 Subaru Forester and a 2004 Lincoln Town Car, according to police.

The drivers of the Acura and the Subaru died at the scene, police said, while the driver of the Lincoln was not hurt.

The Acura driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police, who said the cause of the crash was under investigation.

Westbound Route 100 was closed for about four hours, police said.
