$3K Reward Offered For Information As Teen Shooting Victims Released From Hospital

A $3K reward has been offered for information in the shooting of 2 teens in Columbia who have been released from the hospital, police say.

COLUMBIA, MD — Two teenage boys shot Saturday night in the parking lot of the Columbia Palace shopping center have been released from the hospital, according to police. A reward of up to $3,000 has been offered for information in the case.

Around 9:10 p.m. Oct. 12, Howard County Police were called to the Columbia Palace located at 8808 Centre Park Drive. They found a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Elkridge, with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that weren't life-threatening, according to police.

Howard County Police do not believe this incident is random nor connected to the discovery of a Baltimore man found dead in his vehicle nearby, the department stated.
