7 Kids, Adults Displaced By House Fire In Ellicott City

Seven kids and adults have been displaced by a house fire that broke out early Tuesday morning in Ellicott City. No injuries were reported.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Three children and four adults have been displaced after the home they were living in caught fire Tuesday morning.

Firefighters and paramedics with the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services arrived on the scene of the fire, which was located in the 5100 block of Little Creek Drive. They found fire pouring out of the first floor of the two-story, single-family home. Firefighters gained control of the fire in 15 minutes and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department.

The families are being helped by the American Red Cross and the fire is being investigated by the Maryland Office of the Fire Marshal.
