Burglars Target Homes, Vehicles Across Howard County Sept. 17-20

Howard County Police reports numerous home break-ins, vehicle break-ins and vehicle thefts from Sept. 17-20.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Several burglaries were reported from Sept. 17-20 that affected houses and vehicles, according to Howard County Police.

Sometime between Sept. 17-19, a suspect(s) forced open the front door of a home in the 5800 block of Cole Drive in Elkridge and stole items from the house, according to police.

In the overnight hours of Sept. 19-20, a suspect(s) gained access to a home in the 5900 block of Florey Road in Hanover through an unlocked rear sliding door and stole a purse and wallet from the home, police reported.

Several vehicles were broken into during the overnight hours of Sept. 19-20 across Howard County. Three vehicles were broken into in the 6600 block of Redd Lane in Elkridge. Personal items like a wallet were stolen. A vehicle in the 7300 block of Coca Cola Drive in Hanover was broken into and tools were stolen, according to police.
