Landing Road Construction to Begin
Part of the road will be closed for about two months during construction, according to the county.
Howard County is scheduled to start construction on Landing Road near Ilchester Point Court on Tuesday.
The project will realign about 500 feet of Landing Road so it connects directly with Ilchester Point Court. The realignment is scheduled to be completed in early December.
A portion of Landing Road near Royal Coachman Drive will be closed to thru traffic during the project, although residents and emergency vehicles will be able to pass.
The county will also add a right-turn lane on northbound Ilchester Road. Some lane closures are expected during construction.
