Man Fatally Hit By Passing Vehicle While Walking On Guilford Road

JESSUP, MD — A man was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking along Guilford Road Monday night.

At approximately 8:07 p.m., a 2011 Audi A4 was traveling eastbound in the 10300 block of Guilford Road when it hit a man who was walking in the travel portion of the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed, police said. The man has not yet been identified.

No charges have been filed but the investigation is ongoing, Howard County Police said.
