
Residents of The Lutheran Village at MILLER'S GRANT who died over the past year were honored at a memorial service on April 29. Chaplain Stacey Brady, assisted by Courtney Abell, led the service that focused on the continuity of love. Seven candles were lit, one each for love, joy, memories, tears, hope, peace and strength. Each of the 16 departed residents was recognized by name and the sound of a bell, follwed by a reading of We Remember Them from the Gates of Repentance. The residents who were remembered include:

Classical music, selected and performed by MILLER'S GRANT residents Marcene Huebner, Serena Moore and Sue Pumplin, was included in the ceremony.
Fellowship and refreshments were shared following the formal program.
