Teen Assaulted, Robbed While Selling Shoes + Store Employee Threatened: HCPD
A boy reported being assaulted and robbed while selling shoes to other teens and a store employee was threatened by a shoplifter, HCPD said.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Three robberies were reported Sept. 6-7, including one where a teen was assaulted and robbed while selling shoes he had posted online.
On Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. in the 7400 block of Saint Margarets Boulevard, a teenage boy told Howard County Police that he had arranged online to sell shoes at a specified location. He instead was approached by two teenage boys who assaulted him and stole the shoes then ran off. No serious injuries were reported, according to police.
On Sept. 7 around 3:30 p.m., an employee at Dick's Sporting Goods located at 6221 Columbia Crossing Circle in Columbia told police that a woman stole items and threatened the store employee while leaving. No one was injured, police reported.

In the overnight hours Sept. 8-9, a suspect broke the front door of the Jimmy John's located in the 6100 block of Old Dobbin Lane and stole food, according to police.
