Townhouse Fire Displaces Three Columbia Residents
A fire broke out in the kitchen of a Columbia townhouse. Three residents have been displaced, officials said.
COLUMBIA, MD — A kitchen fire broke out in a townhouse Thursday around 8 p.m., according to officials.
The townhouse is located in the 11700 block of Lone Tree Court. All residents had escaped the home before firefighters arrived. The fire was brought under control without spreading to other rooms, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue.
No injuries were reported. Three residents have been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
