Woman Fatally Hit By 2 Vehicles That Left The Scene In Elkridge: Howard County Police

A woman was fatally hit by two vehicles Friday night in Elkridge and neither driver stopped, according to Howard County Police.

ELKRIDGE, MD — A woman has been killed in a hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles that happened late Friday in Elkridge.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 6. According to Howard County Police, Zulma Maginelly Zepeda Barrientos, 29, of Odenton was crossing the road in the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard when she was hit by a vehicle heading south on Washington Boulevard, then was hit by a second vehicle traveling north. Neither vehicle stopped. The woman was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collisions and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. A portion of the road was closed for four hours following the incident.
