1 Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting

A man is recovering at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after being shot early Saturday morning in Essex .

Police found the man in the 1000 block of Mace Avenue around 1:58 a.m. Saturday after a caller reported hearing two gunshots from across the street.

The identity of the victim was not immediately available Saturday afternoon.

Police said he is expected to make a full recovery.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
