Crime Beat: Man Assaulted, Robbed Along Middleborough Road

A 52-year-old man was punched in the face and had three cans of beer stolen from him after being attacked by two unknown assailants at around 10:25 p.m., July 26 at the intersection of Middleborough Road at Hilltop Avenue.

Holcomb Court, unit block, July 24-31. Following a break-in through a rear window, copper wiring was stolen. Total loss: $200.

Wildwood Beach Road, 1300 Block, July 30. A wallet and cell phone were stolen from a man who left the items on the front yard of the house as he worked inside. Total loss: $356.

Eiring Avenue, 100 block, July 27. Scrap metal was stolen from after a hole was cut in the side fence to gain entrance into the business. Total loss: $3,000.

Pulaski Highway, 1000 block, July 27. At about 2:48 a.m., a brick was  used to break the front glass door of the Shell gas station and $500 and 18 cigarette cartons were taken. Total loss: $1,860.

Landmark Court, unit block, July 26. An Airsoft revolver and an Airsoft rifle were stolen from a home. Entry was gained when a small hole in a rear window was broken enabling someone to reach in to unlock the door. Total loss: $90.
