Crime Beat: Suspected Burglar Fixed Cup of Coffee Prior to Crime

Police are investigating a home burglary in Middle River where the suspect fixed and drank a cup of coffee inside the residence before escaping with a number of items.
According to police reports, between 7 am and 7:30 pm June 30, someone entered the home on the 500 block of Compass Road through an unlocked window.
Police said the suspect ransacked multiple rooms and then fixed and drank a cup of coffee before escaping with an Xbox 360 video game console, multiple rifles and a digital camera. The total estimated value of the stolen items is $2,575.

Police have no suspects and are investigating the incident.

Sothorn Road, 2200 block, July 1: Between 10:30 am and 10 pm, someone stole video games, a watch, a gold chain and $80 from a home. Police report the suspect entered through an open basement window.
Poles Road, 1600 block, July 1: At 6:20 pm, a bicycle was taken from the backyard of a home.
Beech Drive, 1100 block, June 30: Jewelry was taken from inside a residence, although no signs of forced entry were discovered. Total loss: $5,700.
Foxchase Lane, 1000 block, June 28: Around 5 pm, police report that someone shattered a basement window in an attempt to break into a home. No items were reported stolen. Total loss: $15.
