Essex Photo of the Day: New Mouths to Feed

Essex resident Lynn Fisher reports her first sighting of mallard babies this spring.

"Though it is hard to see all of them in this picture, Momma has 12 babies," she said in an email to Essex Patch.  "This is our first sighting of babies this season. We follow their progress all summer."
