The Historic Ballestone-Stansbury House needs your help!
Volunteers are needed to help with the continued preservation of a local historic mansion, Ballestone-Stansbury House.

The historic Ballestone-Stansbury House has sat at the edge of a river in Baltimore County for hundreds of years. The beautiful mansion was renovated in the 1970's with help from, the then newly formed, Ballestone Preservation Society. Baltimore County now owns the historic property, however the close to 50 year old organization, the Ballestone Preservation Society, has continued to provide tours as well as special events in order to raise funds to ensure the preservation of this piece of Maryland's history.
That said, the Ballestone Preservation Society needs your help! The Ballestone Preservation Society Members state that they're looking for new members to contribute fresh new ideas for interesting and fun tours for the 2023 tour season, as several of their long term members have recently (and understandably) retired after decades of public service. That means the Ballestone Preservation Society is looking for some great people who love preserving history, love architecture, love to volunteer, or just simply love the beauty & romance of a time gone by.
Therefore, the Ballestone Preservation Society is having a "Volunteer Meet and Greet" on Tuesday, September 27th at 7 pm at the Ballestone-Stansbury House. The current and long time President is Cass Groth, who is also planning on retiring soon too. Feel free to contact Cass at (410) 686-5821, if you have any questions before the meeting on Tuesday, the 27th.
