Man, 4-Year-Old Daughter Shot in Elmwood Area

A man and his 4-year-old daughter were shot in their car while waiting at an intersection.

According to Baltimore County police, the 23-year-old man and his daughter were shot at 8:17 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Old Home and Meadow roads in the Elmwood community.

A family member then drove the pair to Franklin Square Hospital where they were treated for injuries not expected to be life-threatening.

Police do not believe this was a random shooting, but there is no further information available because the investigation is ongoing, according to a news release.
