Middle River Snowball Stand Robbed

A man is suspected of robbing the Icey Delights snowball stand at gunpoint on Sunday night, police said.

Baltimore County police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Middle River snowball stand at gunpoint on Sunday night.

According to police reports, two teen-aged employees—a 16-year-old boy and girl—were preparing to close up the Icey Delight snowball stand, located on the 1400 block of Martin Blvd., around 9:15 p.m. when a man displaying a silver handgun approached the boy as he took out the trash.

The victims told police that the man ordered both inside the stand and demanded money. The thief took about $500 before he ran northbound on Middle River road toward Windlass Drive, according to police reports.

Police described the suspect as a white male, 25-30 years old and balding on the top of his head. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
